New developments in data privacy

Workshop theme

This workshop will provide broad coverage of research developments in data privacy, including statistical disclosure control and disclosure risk assessment; privacy assessment and protection; differential privacy; and privacy preserving data linkage methods. In particular, as the programme’s closing workshop, it will provide a platform for research developed over the programme.

The first two days will consist of user-orientated 'open for business' workshops, delivered by the Turing Gateway to Mathematics:

New Approaches to Anonymisation (Mon 5th December)
Engaging People in Data Privacy (Tue 6^th December)

The remaining three days will be research focussed and will include some presentations on Wed 7^th December, delivered as part of Women in Data Science.
