The purpose of this 4-week programme is to bring mathematical analysts and applied mathematicians together, along with engineers, in a venue which will focus on four very active areas of study of surface water waves of large amplitude, where considerable advances were achieved in the last few years:
- well-posedness
- regularity properties and the formation of singularities
- the flow beneath the waves
- tsunami modelling
