Workshop
30th November 2011

Organiser: Dave Woods (University of Southampton)

Well designed experiments are increasingly being recognised as key components in industrial competitiveness and scientific innovation in a variety of areas. In addition, challenges from industry and science continue to provide stimulus for new research directions in the field. This one-day meeting will bring together academic and industrial researchers and practitioners for the interchange of ideas on the design and analysis of experiments.

The programme will include presentations on current and future industrial applications, and both formal and informal discussions.

The day will start with registration from 10am and the full programme is available here.

Please note that this event will take place as planned despite the public sector strike.

Invited speakers:

  • Tim Davis (Independent Consultant)
  • Peter Zemroch (Shell)
  • Martin Owen and Kate Llewellyn (GlaxoSmithKline)
  • Nicola Tilt (Proctor and Gamble)
  • Justin Seabrook (Ricardo Consulting)
