through the eyes of mathematics
Calling all teachers! Visiting the IMAGINARY exhibition with your pupils is a great way to bring algebraic geometry to life through stunning artistic visualisations. Entry to the exhibition is free and we can offer free exhibition tours by trained demonstrators.
This is a unique opportunity for your pupils to experience this stunning exhibition in a world-class research institute that is not usually accessible to school groups.
Group sessions will last for 1hr 15mins (45min tour and 30min hands-on session) and start at 10:00, 11:30 and 14:00. Why not bring your class group along for a visit or perhaps you have a maths club that would like to come as a group (and ask some tricky questions!) We suggest that the exhibition is best suited to pupils age 12+.
Everyone is invited to take part in a picture competition. You can create your entry at the exhibition or you can download free software and create your entry at home or school. Submissions can be from individuals or groups of any age and there are prizes for the best entries.
