Lie symmetries and Hirota maps

Presented by:
C Athorne [Glasgow]
Wednesday 3rd October 2001 - 15:00 to 16:00
INI Seminar Room 1
In the first part of the talk I'll discuss an algebraic approach to Lie symmetries which tries to build an analogy with differential Galois theory. In the second half, I'll speak about the role of Hirota-type maps in representation theory for sl(2) and sl(3).
