Abstract

Optical Tomography has developed enormously in the last 20 years. In this modality, light in the visible or near infrared part of the spectrum is injected into an object and its transmitted intensity measured on the boundary of the domain. Several inverse problems can be described which correspond to parameter idenfication problems, inverse source problems, or both. Both linear and non-linear approaches can be used. In this talk I will describe several of these problems, their applications, and methods for their solution.
