Theme of Conference:
The workshop will consist of a series of tutorials together with some research talks on related topics. We also hope to have a few short invited talks from graduate students and beginning researchers which will be decided on closer to the workshop date. Tutorials will be given on the following themes: (I) Model theory of differential fields, difference fields, and compact complex spaces, (II) Zariski structures, analytic Zariski structures and complex analytic structures,(III) Model theory of valued fields, (IV) Model theory of metric structures, (V) Motivic integration, (VI) Hilbert's 10th problem and variations, (VII) Real analytic geometry and o-minimality.

Location and Cost:
The Euro Training Course will take place at the Newton Institute and accommodation for participants will be provided in single study bedrooms with shared bathroom at Wolfson Court. The conference package, costing £735, includes accommodation, breakfast and dinner from dinner on Monday 28 March to breakfast on Saturday 9 April 2005, and lunch and refreshments during the days that lectures take place.
Funding
The Euro Training Course is supported by the European Community and funding is available, please indicate on the application form which EC category is applicable. Self-supporting participants are very welcome to apply. Participants who wish to attend but do not require the Conference Package will be charged a registration fee of £60.
Poster Session:
There will be a poster session during the Conference. If you wish to be considered to present a poster, please indicate your request on the application form.
