### Abstract

Turbulent phenomena occur on a large variety of scales, and in a large variety of different applications. In this talk I will deal with the statistical properties of tracer particles embedded in turbulent flows. As a simple model I will introduce so-called superstatistical models, which quite efficiently model the tracer particle dynamics with a stochastic differential equation whose parameters fluctuate on a large time scale. Examples being treated (and compared) are quantum turbulence, Taylor-Couette turbulence, atmospheric turbulence and oceanic turbulence.
