The themed week will involve a series of coordinated seminars on the general topic of learning in computer vision. There will be a low density of formal presentations, allowing ample time for discussions.
A provisional programme is available here
Registration: This is not a formal workshop, and no funding will be available to support participants. Since the week falls during the Cambridge academic term, the Newton Institute will unfortunately not be able to provide any assistance with accommodation. Participants must therefore make their own arrangements for accommodation and evening meals. However, light lunches will be available for purchase in the Institute. In order to gauge numbers, participants are requested to complete and return the short registration form.
*** Closing date for registration: Thursday 2 October at 12:00 noon. ***
This themed week will form a component of the Newton Institute programme on Neural Networks and Machine Learning, organised by C M Bishop, D Haussler, G E Hinton, M Niranjan and L G Valiant.
