Seminar

New Methods for Sampling and Estimation in Communications Networks

Duffield, N (AT&T)
Thursday 24 June 2010, 16:00-16:45

Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute

Abstract

The scale of communications networks, and the immense amount of operational measurements they make available, and the large numerical ranges of data values, together present formidable challenges for data analysis, reduction, and fusion. This talk describes some new sampling based approaches to these problems.
