Sir Isaac Newton

Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences

Rothschild Visiting Professors

NM Rothschild & Sons  have generously granted the Isaac Newton Institute an endowment to support visits from pre-eminent mathematicians around the world. Rothschild Visiting Professors give keynote seminars at the Institute as part of our Monday Seminars series and give lectures around the UK. Names of potential candidates must be approved by both the Institute Management Committee and the General Board of Cambridge University; the person nominated is then formally appointed to a full Professorship at the University of Cambridge for one month. A listing of all Rothschild Visiting Professors is provided below (in programme order.)
