Abstract:
Several square matrices are associated with an arrangement of hyperplanes. These are matrices of suitable symmetric bilinear forms or matrices of hypergeometric integrals associated with an arrangement. These matrices are global characteristics of an arrangement. It turns out that the determinant of each of these matrices equals the product of suitable local characteristics of the arrangement, the characteristics associated with edges of the arrangement.
