Inequalities with applications to percolation theory and related fields

Monday 23rd June 2008 - 14:00 to 15:00

In this talk I will discuss some inequalities that have been, and still are, quite useful in percolation and certain interacting particle systems. Emphasis will be on disjoint-occurrence inequalities and (applications of) influence inequalities. (These notions will be explained during the talk). I will also state some open problems and conjectures.
