The Khinchine inequalities with optimal constants via ultra log-concavity

We shall present a new approach to the comparison of moments for sums of independent symmetric random variables, based on Walkup's theorem which states that the binomial convolution transform preserves log-concavity. This is a joint work with Piotr Nayar.
