NEWTON INSTITUTE CORRESPONDENTS' BULLETIN

Welcome to the Newton Institute Correspondents' Bulletin!
This bulletin will be sent in January, May and September each year and will contain information regarding the Newton Institute and its activities. We hope you will find it a useful way of keeping in touch and a helpful source of information to distribute to your colleagues. We will also send you occasional updates on particular topics.

1. Comments always welcome!
As always, the Director is very happy to receive comments or suggestions regarding the Newton Institute and its activities, including possibilities for future programmes. He can be contacted by e-mail at director@newton.ac.uk

2. Annual Meeting of Newton Institute Correspondents
The next meeting of the Newton Institute Correspondents will take place at the Institute on 5 July 2004. The programme will be as follows;
1.00pm arrival and lunch followed by an afternoon of discussions
5.00pm The Rothschild Visiting Professor, Peter Sarnak (Princeton) will give a seminar entitled 'Zeta Functions and Random Matrix Theory'
