Welcome to the Newton Institute Correspondents' Bulletin!
This bulletin will be sent in January, May and September each year and will contain information regarding the Newton Institute and its activities. We hope you will find it a useful way of keeping in touch and a helpful source of information to distribute to your colleagues. We will also send you occasional updates on particular topics.1. Comments always welcome!

4. Annual Correspondents' Meeting
The Annual Correspondents' Meeting will take place this year on 27 June. The
agenda for the day is as follows;
12.30 Lunch
13.30 Talk by Professor Chris Rogers (Cambridge) entitled 'Financial
Mathematics, or Mathematical Finance?'
14.30 Presentation by Sir John Kingman, Dr Robert Hunt and one of the organisers
of a current programme at the Institute
15.30 Tea
16.00 Open Discussion
17.00 The Rothschild Visiting Professor Seminar given by Professor Ehud
Hrushovski (Hebrew University) entitled 'Integration and logic'
18.00 Wine Reception
Full details of the event will be sent in a separate email later this week. If you are unable to attend on this occasion then we will be asking for a substitute from your institution.

b. The Newton Institute strongly encourages its long-term participants from overseas to visit other UK institutions during their stay. The Institute will pay the travel costs (but not accommodation, etc.) for such visits on request.
