Applicable resurgent asymptotics: summary workshop

Workshop theme

This workshop will bring together experts from a broad range of fields to summarize the state-of-the-art in the main applications of resurgent asymptotics which have been studied during this Newton Institute Programme "Applicable Resurgent Asymptotics". These applications span both mathematics and physics: PDEs, Exponential Asymptotics, Stokes Phenomena, Fluid Mechanics, Integrable Models, Nearly Integrable Systems, Exact WKB, Painleve Equations, Dynamical Systems, Quantum Field Theory, String Theory, Renormalons, Matrix Models, Picard-Lefschetz Theory. Special attention will be devoted to discussions of the big-picture view of resurgent asymptotics, in particular promising new areas of research, new synergies that have been identified and developed during the Programme, and open problems and challenges for the field.

The Registration Package includes admission to all seminars, lunches and refreshments on the days that lectures take place (Monday - Friday), wine reception and formal dinner, but does not include other meals or accommodation.

Accommodation Package: £708

The Accommodation Package includes a registration fee, bed and breakfast accommodation at Robinson College from the evening of Sunday to breakfast on Saturday, together with lunches and refreshments during the days that lectures take place (Monday - Friday). The formal dinner is also included, but no other evening meals

Accommodation in single study bedrooms with shared facilities and breakfast are provided at Robinson College.

Participants are free to make their own arrangements for dinner.

The Formal Dinner will be held at Murray Edwards College on Wednesday 14th December at 19:30.

The event is a tradition for INI participants and gives you a chance to socialise with your colleagues on a more personal level. It is not one to miss!
