Date:
Wednesday 19th December 2007 - 11:10 to 11:30
Venue:
INI Seminar Room 1
Session Chair:
Elizabeth Allman
Abstract:

Recently Patterson et al. 2006 speculated about a complex speciation of humans and chimpanzees. We re-analysed their data and will discuss a more parsimonious solution. Our interpretation of the data is supported by remains of behavioral traits in isolated human populations and in behavioral aspects of chimpanzees.
