Getting there: The Churchill College website provides a location map and directions to the College.
Arrival: Check-in time is from 2:00pm onwards.
Bedrooms: Bedrooms at Churchill College are largely single occupancy with some twin rooms. There are a number of en suite rooms. All rooms are furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, tea and coffee making facilities. A hand and bath towel are also provided, which are changed twice weekly. Rooms are serviced daily between 9:00am and 12:30pm. Towels and bed-linen are generally changed every three days.
Breakfast: Breakfast is served from 7:30am - 9:00am (Monday - Saturday) and 9:00am - 10:30am (Sunday) in the Buttery or Dining Hall.
Internet Access: Internet access is available via an ADSL link located in each bedroom. An RJ-45 Ethernet cable is required. These cables can be purchased from the Porters' Lodge. Wireless access is available in the public rooms.
Porters' Lodge: The Porters' Lodge is the main information point and is staffed 24 hours a day. The Lodge sells stamps and telephone cards for the public telephone located on site.
Vacating your room: You must vacate your room promptly by 10:00am on the day of departure. Please make sure you return your key when you leave. There is a £15 charge for the replacement of lost keys. Additional nights should be booked via the Programme and Visitor Co-ordinator at the Isaac Newton Institute.
Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in bedrooms or in any College building. You may smoke outside in designated smoking areas.
Bar with Sky TV: Please refer to the notice board located near the bar for opening times or ask at the Porters' Lodge.
Public Telephone: There is one public telephone.
Leisure Facilities: Churchill College has squash and tennis courts on site together with football and hockey pitches. Please ensure you bring you own equipment if you wish to make use of these facilities. Appropriate footwear must be worn. Squash and tennis courts can be booked at the Porters' Lodge. The football/hockey pitch should be booked through the Conference Office.
